Qualifying regatta - Sunday, May 20, 9:35 AM EST

Had a health issue and have been out of commission for the last week or so. Hopefully can leave the hospital tomorrow, but ONLY after watching whatever I can of the race before I do.

Here's the US Rowing information about this qualifying regatta. There are some site references in Margot's email that may lead to options for viewing online. The finals will probably be online, not sure what they will do with these initial heats.

Here's an excerpt from one of Margot's emails. The goal is for Margot and Sarah to come in first or second tomorrow so they have a chance to compete for first or second place on Tuesday.

Momma we are in the second heat tomorrow of four boats. The time of our race is 3:35. We are racing Denmark, Finland, and Spain. We need to come in top two to go to the A final. Then the final will be on Tuesday after 5pm. I'll let you know that time for sure later. 

Also, I believe you will be able to watch live streaming of the races. There should be a link somewhere on the worldrowing website or you can try universal sports online. Maybe google Universal Sports. Sometimes you can't view live video in certain areas of the US so not 100% sure if you will be able to watch. 

We had a great row tonight and are feeling good and rested.  Matt says the rowing looks good and together. That's all I want. To just execute our race together and come down the course confidently and aggressively. I know we will do that.
